Reservoir prediction is a technology under the guidance of the theory of seismic exploration, seismic stratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, petroleum geology and seismic inversion, combining seismic, logging and geological data,predicting reservoir parameters and reservoir distribution. As exploration develops in depth, the difficulty is increasing and the number of structural traps are decreasing,the destination looking the subtle reservoirs is becoming more and more urgent. The objectives of the oil and gas exploration and development is not to construct the oil and gas reservoirs, but more subtle lithologic traps and other types of oil and gas reservoirs. Although there are many ways have a certain role in the exploration of subtle reservoirs, but still not an effective method is universal and feasibility.This paper is based on the reservoir prediction project of Santanghu Basin, as the characteristics of the study area are lateral variation and strong heterogeneity,in line with the aim of scientific research services in production, this paper used seismic,geology, logging,drilling and other information to carry out the study of seismic –geologic reservoir prediction. On the basis of fine structure interpretation, this paper systematically analyzed the characteristics of the area sedimentary facies distribution,realizing that the Mesozoic lake sag mainly alluvial fan-lake-braided river delta sedimentary system, laid the foundation for seeking favorable reservoir area; used acoustic reconstruction technique and constrained sparse spike inversion to obtain the wave impedance of the area and favorable sand body distribution; used seismic attribute qualitative analysis to establish the seismic attributes and then find the relationship between reservoir petrophysical parameters and reservoir. Finally,fusion technology into an organic whole, seeking to establish a rapid and effective reservoir prediction process which can be well applied to reservoir evaluation and prediction.Based on application of above technices, the following conclusions can be get:using fine structure explaine,sedimentary facies analysis, reservoir inversion, and the attribute analysis research, combined with drilling and geological conditions of the work area, favorable zones in the area can be found, and two wells bit target is put forward. At the same time this technology can be used for future reservoir prediction in the area.
