But want to progress research application of these high-tech technology, often need to deal with the problem of polarized, they light the polarization characteristics of the demand is higher. The importance of the polarization of the light is not only reflected in the measurement of polarization, in some cases can also affect the performance of the whole optical system. So the polarization of the light beam analysis is particularly important.This paper first introduces the basic theory of polarized light; Secondly, illustrates the different ways of depicting polarized light characterization and adapt to the conditions of polarization; This paper to describe different ways were analyzed, from the applicable conditions, state parameter, and using range comparative analysis is made on several aspects, such as different polarized light to describe the use of the occasion. This conclusion helps to comprehend the polarization of light from different angles, for the construction of the polarization optical basic theory and polarization device’s design also has certain reference value. Finally, an example is given and the experimental simulation verify the reliability of the conclusion.
