Global navigation satellite system is increasingly rich and diverse in providing users with navigation, communications, timing function, at the same time it continuously provide electromagnetic scattering signal in the space. Research on satellite signal reflection has become a hot research satellite applications due to it have a large number of sources and cost smaller on hardware. In this thesis, the research of sea surface wind retrieval mostly based on typical wave spectrum and the power spectrum of the reflected signal correlation characteristics.Firstly, study the usual sea surface wind field detection technology, and analysis the theory and performance. Then, the composition of the common satellite navigation system is studied, and the principle and process of the signal generation are analyzed in detail using the GPS satellite navigation system as an example. The characteristics of the signal are analyzed from two aspects of the direct and reflected signals, which lays the foundation for the following analysis.Secondly, on typical ocean wave spectrum model for in-depth research and simulation, using MATLAB simulation software design module, the simulation of the along with sea surface wind speed and wind direction cha nge and satellite reflected signal power spectrum characteristic curve, through the analysis of the simulation results obtained and used satellite reflected signal of sea surface wind field retrieval feasibility, on the basis of this inversion algorithm was derived.Finally, according to the basic principle of the inversion algorithm, a complete simulation software is designed based on the basic principle of the inversion algorithm, and the correctness of the wind field inversion algorithm is verified. The software is not only used for wind field data inversion, also provides GPS signal feature analysis, wave spectrum characteristic analysis and scattering signal characteristics curve drawing function, as the tool for research in other areas and improve the efficiency.
