The black shale series is an enriching layer of import polymetallic elements as well as significant ore-bearing formation of large-superlarge scale deposites. Xichuan is located in a significant sliver- antimomy- vanadium polymetallic ore zone on the northern of Yangtze Plate.Black shale series. Xichuan is a major ore- bearing statrum of large scale vanadium- molybedenum deposits.Through mineralogy and elemental geochemistry research method,we study the sequence feature ore-containing of Shuigoukou Formayion and make a primary analysis of the genesis of black shale series.The Shuigoukou formation of Qingnigou is mainly consist of chert and rich Fe-Al chert, and ore is mainly contained in rich Fe-Al chert.The Shuigoukou formation of Dragon Temple is westen of Qingnigou,and is mainly consist of thin chert and carbonaceous slate and ore is mainly contained in carbonaceous slate..The Shuigoukou formation of Yindongmen is mainly consist of siliceous dolomite and chert and is southwest of Dragon Temple and the mineralization of Yindonggmen is poor.The black shale series of Shuigoukou formation is mainly consist of chert and rich Fe-Al chert. Rich Fe-Al chert mainly contains quartz, barite, kaolinite and muscovite. According to the analysis of XRD, rich Fe-Al chert mainly contains quartz,barite, kaolinite and illite. Chert mainly contains quartz; illite, talc, calcite kaolinite. The vanadium- containing minerals are illite and limonite. Illite contains a maximum of vanadium is 8.9%, and limonite is 3.7%.The black shale series of study area is rich in V,Ag,Ba,Cu,Zn bythe analysis of primary element rare element and rare earth element,and the generation of chert is mainly influenced by bioaccumulation and hot water,the formation environment is mainly the continental margin.In Cambrian period Qinling arc-basin system form between the Yangtze block and the North China block.Shuigoukou formation formed on the edge of the sourthern Qinling passive continental blocks From top to buttom the lithology of Shuigoukou formation is chert folder carbonaceous mudstone- rich Fe-Al chert- dolomite, which indicate an sedimentary environment from closed – hypoxia to open- oxidation. The geochemistry characteristics indicate that rich Fe-Al chert formed in the anoxic deepsea environment, rich Fe-Al chert and chert formed in the continental margin. A large number of plankton and algae formed in nutrient-rich upwelling.Because of high productivity and rapid consumption of oxygen, a large number of plankton and algae dead accumulate in marine sediments after death and Xichuan Shuigoukou formatiom is formed because of hot water and biological effect.
