Nanxiong basin is rich in uranium deposits, deposits and mineralization spots, the type of uranium mineralization and controlling ore factors are complex and diverse. It can be divided into three types, namely hydrothermal type, sedimentary diagenesis, diagenetic leaching according to research datas and comparison of geological survey. On the basis of different genetic types of ore deposits(occurrences), selecting typical deposits surveying geological work detailedly; researching strata of basi, structure, wall rock alteration, geochemical characteristics and it’s relationship with uranium mineralization. Through the analysis of mines mineralized characteristics and ore controlling factors, the distribution of uranium mineralization of Nanxiong basin can be summed up as follows:(1) the existence of the basin edge and basal granite uranium ore is the prerequisite of uranium mineralization(2) long-term of basin structure and multiple activities is an important factor of ore-forming hydrothermal uranium deposits(3) the middle of the formation of Ⅱ, sedimentary rhythm(the individual part) Ⅲ is the favorable horizon for uranium mineralization(4) the piedmont pluvial phase front facies transition zone is favorable zone for uranium mineralization(5) light color layer(body) is the best place for uranium mineralizationAccording to these three kinds of uranium mineralization geological characteristics and regularity, forecasting three grade uranium mineralization areas. They are:(1) Level I metallogenic prediction area – Quanan areaThe first belt:according drilling works of these years, it has confirmed that extension section of the Southwest of 238 E deposits has a great development prospect; the second belt: west of No. 36 exploration line of 238 W deposit has good signs of mineralization and tendency to the deep mineralization; the third belt: Xiaomeiyao area means hydrothermal activity, silicification and faded significantly, having gamma anomalies; the fourth belt: Cangshi-Zhoudi area has obvious construction branch and good metallogenic prospect.(2) Level 2 metallogenic prediction area – 371 areaIt is located in the north of Luowei-Laohuangtang-Xiaerjing – Mashi area, about 20km2, having good ore-forming geological conditions. According to preliminary provening know that industrial mineral area is 0.43 km2, prospective reserves above 300 tons, industrial reserves above 100 tons, having some knowledge of the metallogenic regularity and mastering some clues for prospecting, metallogenic prospect is very well. 371 uranium deposits in Xiaerjing and Dongtianxin-huangtian area’s mineralization buried is deep and has good preserved. The project revealed many seams in order to find the focus area of rich mineralization.(3) Level 3 metallogenic prediction area – Laohutou-Maluanshui areaThrough deep disclosure to the eastern side of Laohutou, it has identified that this area has 129 sedimentary deposits, characteristics of tectonic hydrothermal activity is similar to the 234 and 238 deposit. At present, the deep research is still not fully exposed, so it is necessary to further researching for deep area.Hydrothermal uranium deposit is a type of development prospects in the metallogenic belt, it is also the focus of our future work. Finding hydrothermal type should as main goal of prospecting direction in Nanxiong basin. In addition to the development of Quanan, it is also to note secondary structure’s deep disclosure of hanging wall in Nanxiong silicified fault zone, such as: No. 36 exploration line’s west area of 238 deposit, junction between 723 silicified zone and Zhangshuzhai fracture zone, NNE fracture complicated area about hydrothermal activity of Maluanshui area. It should deeply explore to the high field region both uranium mineralization and anomaly area of geophysical and geochemical in order to develop new areas.
