Landslide induced by rainfall is the most frequent kind of geological disasters, the large-scale, destructive, caused a significant impact to people’s lives and property. However, The numerical simulation and model test as an effective means of slope permeability and stability analysis on rainfall have been widely used. So we build a TANK model and soil-slope model to monitor the change of soil water content, pore water pressure, drainage and slope failure and other parameters. We hope to have some useful success to soil slope permeability characteristics through these analysis of parametric.Firstly, we introduce the Rainfall landslide model tests carefully, including rainfall simulation system, TANK model and slope model system, monitoring system and data acquisition system. And re-calibrate the simulated rainfall equipment, pore water pressure sensors and moisture sensors.Secondly, based on the surface tank model test,we discussed the surface runoff and infiltration of rainfall. The results showed that infiltration decreases exponentially with rainfall. Through a 1-dimensional tank model test explores moisture versus time of infiltration. As well as the relationship between the cumulative infiltration and pore water pressure, pore water pressure versus the speed of drainage. In 2-dimensional tank model, in addition to the recharge of upper infiltration, there is the rear of the tank model infiltration recharge, so there is a longer lag time after the rain stopped, the greater the value.After based on the physical tank model test analysis the laws of slope permeability characteristics, through the slope model to further explore the changes in permeability and damage law under rainfall conditions. And monitoring the internal drainage and surface drainage,we discovery that,at the beginning the internal drainage greater than the surface drainage, but with the development of slope failure, gradual slope seepage of surface main on runoff and accumulate a large number of soil in the slope of the leading edge.Based on the SEEP / W and SLOPE / W software separately with tank model and slope model to establish a numerical simulation analysis, the results showed that: the pore water pressure of one-dimensional tank model with steady-state seepage between the distribution of rainfall intensity the same to test results; two- dimensional interaction model test analyzed the level of seepage tank model does exist; further analysis on slope infiltration with the rainfall infiltration, the slope of pore water pressure increases, the safety factor decreased are same to test results. From the numerical simulation results, and the test results are consistent with the test model.
