The aim of this study was to know the structure of grasshoppers’ communities and the species diversity were compared and analyzed in ecological restoratio in the hilly and gully area of Loess Plateau of Yan’an. An investigation of grasshoppers communities was carried out using diversity indices and similarity analysis in four habitats, seven county and four restored years in July to Ooctober, 2013-2014. The results are as follows:This investigation has collected 3396 grasshoppers, subject to 6 families 15 genera and 30 species. Among them, 1 genera, 1 species of Pamphagidae, 1 genera, 1 species of Pyrgomorphidae, 2 genera, 5 species of Cantantopidae, 6 genera, 7 species of Oedipodidae, 4 genera, 13 species of Arcypteridae, 1genera, 3 species of Acididae.The number of Atractomorpha sinensis species is the most and this is the dominant species.In addition, the number of less species of grasshoppers ups to 18 species in the hilly and gully area of Loess Plateau of Yan’an.Analysising the number of species and the numbers of individuals of grasshoppers in different restored habitats, the results show that: the number of species of grasshoppers was highest in the restoration artificial woodland and lowest in the farmland. The numbers of individuals of grasshoppers were highest in the restoration natural grassland and lowest in the farmland. The result of species diversity index analysis in different restored habitats as follows: the Shannon-Weiner index of grasshoppers was highest in the restoration natural grassland. The species richness index of grasshoppers was highest in the restoration artificial woodland. The dominance central tendency index was highest in the restoration artificial grassland. The evenness index of grasshoppers was highest in the restoration natural grassland. For the analysis of similarity, the similarities of restoration natural grassland and restoration artificial grassland were middle similar. The others were not similar.Analysising the number of species of grasshoppers in different restored counties, we found that the number of species of grasshoppers was highest in Baota County and Zhidan County. For the structure of grasshoppers communities, the grasshoppers of Baota County subject to 5 families 13 genera and 22 species, and the grasshoppers of Zhidan County subject to 6 families 11 genera and 22 species. The result of species diversity index analysis in different restored habitats as follows: the Shannon-Weiner index and species richness index of grasshoppers was highest in Zhidan County. The dominance central tendency index was highest in Ganquan County. The evenness index of grasshoppers was highest in Yanchang County. For the analysis of similarity, the similarities index between Fuxian and Zhidan County is the highest, and the similarities index between Yanchang County and Ganquan County is the lowest.In different restored years, the number of species of grasshoppers was highest in restored 11 years, has 15 species. For the structure of grasshoppers communities, the grasshoppers of restored 11 years subject to 6 families 7 genera and 15 species. The Shannon-Weiner index and species richness index of grasshoppers was highest in restored 11 years. The dominance central tendency index was highest in restored 5 years. The evenness index of grasshoppers was highest in restored 7 years. For the analysis of similarity, the similarities of different restored years were all middle similar.
