This paper describes the application of geophysical methods to verify aeromagnetic anomalies in the Alxa region. The area consists of two partitions, the 72-124,125,126 aeromagnetic anomalies inspection area in the Alex Left Banner and 72-193 aeromagnetic anomaly inspection area in the Alxa Right Banner, an area were 36.12km2, 39.25km2.The purpose of the verification is to review the aeromagnetic anomalies position, and further delineation ground precision magnetic measurement range and study of Abnormal distribution; preliminary understanding the nature, size, depth, occurrence of the magnetic body by qualitative and quantitative interpretation to magnetic anomalies; In order to identify the cause of the abnormal using drilling project. Looking for iron ore deposits, while looking with weak magnetic geological and basic, ultrabasic rocks associated polymetallic minerals; to general understanding of Containing ore and ore body size, provide the basis for further work.By performing field reconnaissance and collection of data in the region to learn about the geology of the workspace, geophysical and aeromagnetic anomalies characteristics. Using high-precision magnetic measurements, IP intermediate gradient profile measurements, IP sounding methods, design 1: 10000 high-precision magnetic measurement 75.37km2, 1: 2000 cross-sectional magnetic survey 20 km, 1: 5000 Geological Geophysical Integrated Section 30 km, drilling 1013.85 m, and get bored primary halo-like 103.The aeromagnetic anomalies verification work delineated six geomagnetic anomalies, review of the existence of aeromagnetic anomalies, and do data processing and interpreting for abnormal data. Verified by drilling, infer that the high magnetic anomalies are caused by the altered rocks and metamorphic rocks. Original speculation the possibility of the existence of iron ore deposits and related geological with weak magnetic and the related multi-metal mineral with mafic, ultramafic rocks is unlikely.
