Onder the guidance of the petrology, sedimentology theory and stratigraphy,this paper is on the basis of collecting and studying the former data,using some analysis methods such as,field geological survey,test analysis and indoor comprehensive analysis to study thecharacteristics ofstratigraphic and paleontological in the area of Guaizi lake in Eernaqi,Inner Mongolia,and to research the stratigraphic division,stratigraphic sequence andsedimentary facies features of Permian stratigraphic.According to the regional correlation of rock association characteristics,the author divided the bottom of former shuangputang formation into a metamorphic rock stratum,divided the high metamorphic Gneiss into Beishan group of Lower proterozoic,and the low grade metamorphic stratum is divided into the Gutongjing group of mesoproterozoic.The studies of Petrological indicate that the rock type of this stratum in this area is mainly Clastic Rock.According to the regional correlation of rock association characteristics and the paleontology Combination in the north area,the formation of un metamorphicClastic Rock above the former Shuangpuang formation of Permian is divided into the Shuangpuang formation,early Permian.The author take the Shuangbaotang formation as the object of the research to study the Sequence stratigraphy of it in the working area,and divided it into one second-order sequence and three third-order sequences.In order to summarize the Basic sequence,system tract and the feature of parasequence.One type of parasequence was divided and it become crude from the bottom to the top.The type of system tracts are low stand system tract,transgressivesystem tract and highstand system tract..According to the characteristics of rock, sedimentary structure, ancient biomarkers and trace elements and other signs,The study area of Permian Shuangbaotang formation sedimentary environment is divided into neritic environmentand no barrier coastal environmental.Furthermore,the author divided it into four subphase types,named foreshore subphase,nearshore subphase, shoreline transitional zone subphase and offshoreshelf subphase.
