The scattering properties analysis and solve of air targets optical scattering characteristics has been the research emphasis of the domestic and foreign scholars study all the time, the various method of solving target scattering information has been proposed, these methods are widely used in target tracking, identification of target feature extraction, and the air monitoring, etc. Simulation analysis of the current mainstream algorithm in the study of the air target scattering characteristics, ignore indirect radiation from complex target and the speed of calculating is slow, aiming at the problems above, Specific work is as follows:This thesis first to analyze the radiation source of air target under the condition of natural background radiation, and introduce the concept of stray radiation in the optical system, then analyze the significance of the stray radiation.Secondly this thesis analyze the disadvantages of exist methods in targets scattering information calculating, proposed the three-dimensional surface element model based on typical target, using the ray tracing to solve and Kd-tree (k-dimensional tree) structure on the target surface element is adopted to establish the space segmentation structure to speed up the calculation, using MODTRAN atmospheric transmission model simulated the information of natural environment incident light on the surface of the target at the same time, and then using five parameter BRDF (bidirectional reflectance distribution function) experience model calculation for complex target scattering information, and by comparison with the experimental results show that the method has the very high engineering values in the fields of target optical detection, air target recognition and missile guidance research.Finally this thesis using OPENGL and VS2008 created "air targets scattering calculation analysis software", on the basis of the original experimental results, add the target surface temperature field radiation by using FLUENT software to calculate air flow field temperature, according to the contrast stray radiation distribution results whether add target surface temperature field radiation to get the final conclusion, the algorithm designed in this thesis can effectively simulation calculation and analysis of complex typical targets of optical scattering information.
