With the development of computer graphics, network technology and computer technology,3D Digital Earth becomes one of the important directions of geographic information system. This thesis aims to develop a new digital earth system, and to study the organization, management and network optimization transmission of geospatial data.The main content of the thesis is as follows:1) The method which is used to organize and manage geospatial data of 3D Earth System is proposed to organize and manage aero photo and vector digital map data.2) A 3D Earth under C/S architecture data prefetch prediction is proposed to realize optimize network transmission and shorten the user interaction response time, which use the last viewpoint and the current viewpoint to predict the next viewpoint.. The prediction algorithm combining with parallel mechanism prefetch the predicted view-dependent aero photo in advance. Cache algorithm is put forward at the same time which can store data that transmitted from server. Then the data will not be repeat transmitted.3) The 3D Earth prototype system has been developed, and the rendering of 3D building model and vector digital map data is introduced in detail.. A number of simulation and validation experiments are designed to analyze prediction accuracy and system performance, and the experimental result show that the proposed method is better to improve the performance of network transmission on aero photo.
