The situation of equatorial ionosphere is one of the difficulties in correcting the global ionosphere model. The study of the equatorial ionospheric current and electric field and their response to external factors will help us to understand the pattern that the variation of magnetic field follows, then build or improve a global ionosphere model net for the ionospheric correction to observation data and satellite communication.Here we discussed the response of Equatorial Electrojet (EEJ) and Equatorial Electric Field (EEF) along with their variance, with the model EEJM-2.0and EEFM-1.0, which were built by Patrick to describe the Equatorial electrojet and Equatorial electric field separately. And then analysed the data between1999and2006with the method of wavelet.We found that the three-wave-structure of EEJ current density survives from mid November to mid March, the three-wave-structure of EEF exists during mid November and early April, and show a four-wave-structure in the rest of year. While their variance doesn’t show any longitude structure which changes with time. The EEJ, EEF and their variance respectively shows a sine or cosine curve in one lunar day. The effect of the sun shows a priority to the moon with ionosphere behavior during a quiet sun activity period. The sun is the most important energy and influence source of the ionosphere. Setting the local time at11, the short period changes of EEJ and EEF changes severely when the annual variation shows a high level, so does their variances. All these compositions with a short period changes with solar activity, this means that solar activity can also affect the ionosphere through its influence on the atmospheric circulation.
