In this paper, we have studied the magnetism and solar activity long-term changes, seasonal change and daily variation characteristics by using the1957-2013geomagnetic activity index of C9, Cp, Kp, Ap,Dst, AE and the number of sunspots, solar radio traffic F10.7data, and with the method of wavelet analysis, overlay cross correlation analysis and time series method. In the other hand, according to Dst index to statistical analysis of1957-2013geomagnetic storms, and by using the13different longitude and latitude of China geomagnetic station minute value data to analyze the morphological characteristics of three typical large geomagnetic storms.The wavelet transform of magnetism and the solar activity show that both exist quasi10.7years and quasi cycle characteristics of22years. The geomagnetic index peak gradually over the sun weeks,the medium and high latitude index lagging behind the sun parameters in1-2years, and the index of low latitude approximate inverse relationship of the sun parameters. The wavelet decomposition of geomagnetic index reflect the amplitude of low and medium latitude index change is bigger than the high latitude index. This suggests that geomagnetic affected by solar activity more and more small and the time lag increase, the low and medium latitude of geomagnetic activity influence of the sun is bigger than the high latitude activity.The temporal superposition of geomagnetic index and solar activity obtain seasonal change and daily variation characteristics.In one hand, solar activity is not obvious seasonal variation, the low and medium latitude index exists variation characteristics of six months, the biggest performance for spring, summer and winter take the second place, and the high latitude index characteristic alike to the low and medium latitude index only in low year of solar activity, show that the highest of summer, spring take the second place and winter is smallest in the high and throughout the year of sun activity. Daily variation regularity of low and medium latitude index value is night greater than daytime, and the index of high latitude in the opposite, show that low weft geomagnetic activity is more active at night and relatively quiet during the day, the high latitude activity in the opposite.Geomagnetic storm statistical results concluded that the sun23week is special to magnetic storms occur frequently, that different from the sun in front of the week.According to analysis the typical of three magnetic storms special form, show that in the same geomagnetic storm, the records to the strength of the longitude and latitude stations is different. In the same longitude chain, the more close to the equator, the greater its powerful, whereas latitude is higher, intensity is smaller. In the low latitude30°circle, from west to east station intensity increases gradually, and the law of latitude40°circle in contrast to the latitude30°circle.
