The concept of "knowledge network" was put forward in1985, and it gotthe rapid application and promotion, especially in the fields of management,knowledge engineering and pedagogy. With the development of knowledgenetwork, the concept of subject knowledge network emerged. Subjectknowledge network is the concrete manifestation of knowledge network indifferent subjects, it has the characteristic of general knowledge network, andthe unique of different subjects.In recent years, subject knowledge network has made rapid development,but it is mainly applied in the field of enterprise management and knowledgeengineering, and has little application in the field of education and teaching. Asa new research perspective and research method, complex network has created anew situation for the research of subject knowledge network. It is a new idea toquantitatively study subject knowledge network with complex network astheoretical tool. In reality, a large number of complex systems can be describedby complex networks, such as river networks, transportation networks and morecomplex scientific research citation networks, etc. The element of the actualsystem as the node, the link between element and element is the link betweenthe nodes, and the network is composed by the link between the nodes and the nodes. Visualization of complex networks on the morphology of the system willbe systematically upgrades to the network level, which provides a new methodfor the topological structure of the observation system, analysis system betweenindividuals and the influence of the system overall characteristic. So, theresearch of network topology is very important in complex network research..Subject knowledge network is a network knowledge system composed ofknowledge nodes and knowledge. It has a complex topology. Only use words orstatistical data to represent subject knowledge network structure, may lead toinformation loss and observation very difficult, with complex network tool canbe and that knowledge of the network topology with intuitionistic andconvenient, for mining hidden valuable in subject knowledge networkinformation provides a convenient.This paper with topological structure of automation specialty knowledgesystem as the research object, on the complex networks as a tool, from the pointof view of natural science statistical characteristics of automation specialtyknowledge network, community structure and so on are analyzed, mining and itsapplication significance in teaching.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1) Determine the rules for the modeling of automated professionalknowledge networks. Under Rule modeling conditions are met, the professionalknowledge of automation of network modeling, form in curriculum, knowledgeunit, the knowledge for the node, with its relation as the edge of a three-layer knowledge network, and the use of software pajek visualization of networkknowledge.(2) By using of complex network theory of automation specialty knowledgenetwork basic statistical characteristics were calculated. The experimentalresults show that automation professional knowledge network degreedistribution follows a power-law distribution, knowledge of node and thedegrees can reflect the knowledge of different nature; aggregation coefficient ofa curriculum and curriculum internal tightness; betweenness and the averagepath length can be used in mining automation knowledge network importantnode.(3) Using local similarity of community division algorithm of curriculumknowledge network and knowledge network unit division and found knowledgenetwork has obvious modular structure, and the actual situation of thecurriculum is consistent. And through community division, the redundancy ofthe curriculum is found.(4) Using a new node importance evaluation index of curriculumknowledge network important node were evaluated consistent with the resultsobtained with the basic statistical properties of complex networks are calculatedresults, verify the validity of the evaluation index, confirmed the important nodeof the automation in the knowledge network.(5) By using the topological sorting algorithm sorting network courses onknowledge of automation, not only to verify the rationality of the original curriculum sequencing, the combination of automation of the actual sequence ofcourse make the corresponding improvement.(6) The results of the analysis on automation professional teaching reality,points out problems existing in the teaching and proposes the correspondingsolution, the teaching design and guiding the teaching will have a positive effect.
