Neville Factorizations Of Sign Regular Matrix

The class of sign regular matrix, as one of the important special matrices, is widely used in many ?elds. In this paper we ?rst consider Neville factorizations of nonsingular almost strictly tridiagonal sign regular matrix, and we then discuss Neville factorizations for general nonsingular almost strictly sign regular matrices,?nally we study some properties of determinants for certain sign regular matrices.The paper is organized as follows:In Chapter One, we introduce some background knowledge and recent works for Neville elimination and eville factorizations of sign regular matrices;In Chapter Two, we present some basic notations and de?nitions about sign regular matrix, and discribe the process of Neville elimination method.In Chapter Three, we discuss Neville factorizations of nonsingular almost tridiagonal sign regular matrices.In Chapter Four, we mainly give how to preserve the almost strict sign regularity Neville elimination, and we then characterise of certain almost strictly sign regular matrices.In Chapter Five, we present some properties of determinant for certain sign regular matrices.
