In this study, five kinds of wild Pennisetum different sources for the test material, respectively, in seed germination and seedling growth period of drought and salt stress, study five kinds of wild Pennisetum seeds under drought or salt stress conditions and germination physiological and Biochemical seedling stage, and the use of statistical methods membership function, respectively, of each material germination and seedling growth period of drought or salt tolerance comprehensive comparison and evaluation, come drought or salt tolerance of the material, while Pennisetum resistance screening also identified to provide a reference. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Using the membership function of wild Pennisetum material germination and seedling growing number of indicators were drought, salt tolerance evaluation.5kinds of drought resistance evaluation results of wild Pennisetum material is:ST> NS> YJ2> DY> FX, which ST in seed germination and seedling growth period has strong drought resistance, and therefore can be used as a high drought resistance ST wolf tail grass materials for screening drought resistance of Pennisetum germplasm provided materials.5kinds of wild Pennisetum material germination and seedling growing in a comprehensive salt tolerance results:YJ2> FX> ST> NS> DY, analysis drawn five kinds of wild Pennisetum materials, YJ2, FX in the germination stage and growing seedlings showed high salt tolerance, salt tolerance can be as wild Pennisetum material for further screening.(2) In the PEG and NaCl stress, the germination of seedlings and growing part of some indicators of wild Pennisetum materials at low concentrations higher than controls, suggesting that low concentrations of drought and salt stress will seed germination and seedling Pennisetum showed some growth promoting effect, but with PEG, NaCl concentration increases, seed germination and seedling growth was inhibited.(3) Wild Pennisetum when subjected to drought stress and salt stress, the overall performance of membrane permeability increases, leaf relative water content is reduced and the reduction in chlorophyll content, chlorophyll fluorescence parameters and indicators are also plants in the face of adversity the following reflects the close relationship. Plants under environmental stress, membrane permeability, leaf relative water content, chlorophyll content and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of indicators by the impact of environmental stress to maintain high stability, this plant has a strong anti-stress capability.(4) Through the five kinds of wild Pennisetum germination and seedling growth period of drought resistance and salt tolerance rank correlation analysis results, Pennisetum at different growth stages of the resistance has a weak positive correlation with salt tolerance strong positive correlation; whereas no significant correlation between drought resistance Pennisetum comprehensive and integrated salt tolerance.
