Xia Siwan oil field is located in south-central of EerduosBasin and is battleground ofexploration and development in recent years. Its tectonic units the Yishan slope. Qnan83areaof the researcher is located in south to Xia Siwan oilfield area and the major reservoir is theChang2oil layer of Yanchang Formation. The oil area is4.81km2and thickness is7.88m.The yield of the area change a lot, the relations between the oil and water is complicated andthe geological understanding is not clear.On the basic of previous research, we take fine strata classification and correlation theoryas instruction divided and compared to strata in entire area and make a deep division to Chang2formation and get three oil bearing series. The article is theoretically based on reservoirgeology, reservoir sedimentology, reservoir well logging geology, exploration geology etc andanalyses all kinds of the sedimentary characteristic comprehensively. Using core, well logging,we judge Chang2formation is the fluvial facies and grows mainly three sedimentarymicrofacies of channel sand, channel side edge,flood plain. Based on source direction andsedimentary facies, the article did the research of sandbodies distribution characteristic.Reservoir stratum property, four character and reservoir type are also analysed. On the basis ofthe systematic description and evaluation of various properties, enriched rules of the area areconclued. These provide a new basis for the area of oil and gas exploration for the next step.
