The Kumaraswamy distribution is similar to the Beta distribution, but has its own key advantages, such as its simple function.These advantages make it much better to simulate and calculate than the Beta distribution. So it will be convenient to research and easier application.However, few researches about it although has been introduced since1980s, even many statisticians have no knowledge on it. This may have been due to a known distribution-Beta distribution. Nowadays, the distribution has been applied in hydrology research and produced fascinating application.The paper bases on previous research. First step, applying Inverse Estimation to estimate the Kumaraswamy distribution parameters. Comparing to traditional MLE, its simulation results closer to real results, even the sample size is little. Second step, the paper computes its interval estimation by making use of generalized pivotal quantity. This methods have also get ideal results. At last, the paper discusses reliability of Kumaraswamy distribution. The Inverse Estimation and generalized pivotal quantity estimation have good fitting effects. The method in this paper can be better applied in estimation of kumaraswamy distribution. So I hope it can be a good reference for further research and practical application.
