Geothermal energy is a hot topic in today’s world energy research, whichtogether with solar, wind, biomass and tidal constitutes a new energy family. The newcoastal area of Tianjin which contains the rich geothermal resources, has a longhistory of development and utilization. It is known as "the third growth pole ofChina’s economy"," National Key New support national development and opening ",With the rapid economic growth, total energy demand will maintain rapid growth.Conventional energy supply, o that the new district energy situation is extremely tenseand more arduous task of energy saving, the supply and demand of energy havebecome increasingly prominent. Therefore, the issue of sustainability of new coastalarea development and utilization of geothermal resources has become one of the keygovernment departments, as well as experts and scholars attention and research.In this paper, the new coastal area Neogene Guantao example, explore waysNeogene pore geothermal reservoir geothermal resource evaluation. By analyzing thegeological structure, drilling, geophysical and geochemical data, etc., in the areaNeogene Guantao geothermal reservoir boundary conditions, heat storagecharacteristics, burial depth, geothermal field and geothermal fluid flow field depthstudy. Thermal storage method and volume method were used respectively tocalculate the binhai new area of2270km2within the scope of neogene guantaogeothermal resources and geothermal fluid static reserves, the calculation results is6.28x1019J; Geothermal resources recoverable amount0.54x1019J; hydrostaticgeothermal reserves916.3x108m3.In full consideration of the geological environment conditions established on thebasis of the application Modflow Guantao geothermal reservoir visualization modeland numerical models of geothermal fluid inside3722km2.Results show that themodel can well reflect the actual geothermal heat reservoir geological andhydrogeological conditions. on the basis of the application model under the conditionof mining limit for geothermal fluid recoverable amount is8.68x108m3;accountedfor0.29%of the layer hydrostatic geothermal reserves; The average temperature inthe layer of the layer65℃calculated recoverable amount of geothermal fluidcalories is15.99x1016J, equivalent to the amount of power443x108kWh,accounting for0.94%of the layer of geothermal resources recoverable amount. Considering the current situation exploitation, development and utilizationfactors planning, geothermal geological conditions on the five mining programevaluation.
