The study area is located in the south-central part of Tibetan Autonomous Region, stretching from Gongbo’gyamda County in the east to Ngamring County in the west, with Shigatse-Qusong and Tonna-Tigunba as the border between south and north, which is650Km from east to west and120Km from south to north, covering an area of78000Km2.The administrative divisions of this area include Lhasa, Shigatse, Shannan and part of Nagqu.1.This paper, based on the results and materials from the regional geological surveys and research work conducted by the predecessors, combining the results of field surveys, systematically researched the Geological tectonic evolution and Coupling relationship of structure-magma-mineralization, summarized and analyzes the controlling factor of the distribution and rule of regional mineralization, potentials and directions of prospecting both in the east and west of study area. Then it comes to the following conclusions:According to the rule of time distribution, based on the amount of deposit influenced by mineralization in evolution period, it is to be concluded that mineralization in the study area appears strongest and most widely in the early and middle stage of Pleistocene(23.8-11.2Ma); Whereas it come to the second in the early and middle stage of the Eocene Epoch(55.0~37.0Ma); The last appears in preceding Paleocene epoch (65.5~55.0Ma). This happens not only in Collision Period when magma and ore-forming hydrothermal are abnormally active, but also in Post-collision Period when Plateau uplift stretch containing ore while porphyry and hydrothermal widely invading. The period mentioned above is the main stage for the formation of metal deposit belt of Kailas Range.2.1n terms of spatial distribution regularities, from the south to the north in this region,"Yarlung Zangbo River Light Pushover Tectonic Fan","LinZhou Back-arc Basin Qulong-JiaMa-Pump Double Overlap Pushover Structural Fan","Songduo Plate Junction Multi-stage Evolutional Pushover Tectonic Structural Fan" are developed, which have a dominant influence on the metal deposit and occurrence.3.In the north of Songduo Eclogite, the mineralization, controlled by the reversed fold system northward, is dominated by the combination of lead and zinc. To the south of it, the mineralization, controlled by the fan-shaped nappe system, is dominated by copper and molybdenum.
