Ebbesen found Extraordinary Optic Transmission (EOT) in experime nts when the light waves through the metal film aperture arrays. A nd then gives the surface plasmon model to explain this phenomeno n. Followed by the development of technology, EOT is used in mo re and more areas, but the traditional model of the surface plasmon has its limitations. There have developed several new theoretical me chanism.Based on FDTD algorithm,we difference the curl equations of Maxwell’s equations, and simulate the EOT of the silver film slit with periodic grooves.Expectations for the slit-groove array structur e optimization, and use that kind of structure as the visible and infr ared detection antenna vision. We give several factors that impact on the EOT. Finally, I predicted that the surface plasmon will interfere when they spread on the metal film. The simulation results successf ully demonstrated this vision.
