Thoughout the fine stratigraphic division and comparison on Chang6layer, along withthe comprehensive analysis of single well facies, well-logging facies and connected wells’cross-section, combined with sedimentary microfacies evolution and plane distributionfeatures, it is dictated that the depositional system of the Chang6reservoir in Huanjiang areabelongs to the delta front and turbidite fan depositional environment coexist, main microfaciestypes are underwater distributary channel and turbidite channels.According to the data collected from Laboratory analysis, logging data, productioninformation and so on during coring, conducting the analysis on reservoir four sexualrelationships, physical lower limit and water-oil boundary identification standard, logginginterpretation model is established, responsible for the secondary processing and interpretationof77wells logging data in the whole region. Then, the overall study on features of reservoir isin progress, where rock and mineral characteristics, microstructure characteristics, physicalcharacteristics and heterogeneity characteristics are included. Based on the previous steps,SPSS software is applied, in which parameters such as porosity, permeability, flow zoneindicator are being as variables, to run a cluster analysis for samples during coring. Then, onthe basis of performing a discriminant analysis for clustering results of coring, non-coringinformation can be detemined, along with hydrocarbon flow units being carved which reportthe reservior, seepage and other information as well. At last, with employing the carved-outflow units, combined with production and oil testing data, delineation of favorable areas forthe whole oil region is executed.
