Bearing and gear are quick-wear part of mechanical equipment, bearing and gear would cause contact fatigue under cyclic stress when they were running, seriously even cause mechanical equipment and accident If we know contact fatigue life in advance of bearing and gear materials, we could reduce the incidence of fault of mechanical equipment by setting use cycle of bearing and gear.The principle of bearing and gear materials contact fatigue test is that a permanent load imposed on samples, which are rolling manipulation or rolling and sliding manipulation, thus surface in contact suffers contact cyclic stresses, measuring stress-number of cycles when samples occur Contact fatigue failure.According to "bearing and gear materials contact fatigue" test, combining bearing would easily cause contact fatigue and wear and considering processing and installing of bearing, in this paper we processed bearing and gear materials into a special form like bearing, and we designed bearing and gear materials contact fatigue test and its supporting software.Test system of bearing and gear materials contact fatigue includes bearing and gear materials contact fatigue testing machine, signal collecting circuit lubrication system and signal display and analysis software based on Lab VIEW.When the test machine running, the vibration signal and temperature of bearing were real-time monitored. The test machine would alarm and stop when RMS of signal or temperature of bearing exceeded default. Then we judged bearing and gear materials fatigue failure and got stress cycles when bearing and gear materials fatigue failure.We have successfully developed bearing and gear materials contact fatigue test machine and its supporting software, and delivered to the client The test system could achieve test of contact fatigue life of bearing and gear materials.
