Hydrological information construction is the foundation and the important sign of modernization; under the new situation, the urgent need to strengthen the hydrological information system construction and application. In hydrological information monitoring system, often need to numerous water real-time monitoring, which is the large volume of monitoring parameters of hydrological information monitoring,and is the important index of the water-saving irrigation, flood control, water resources protection.Hydrological information acquisition system based on the hydrological information acquisition terminal is the key and foundation of hydrological information modernization construction. So this paper puts forward the research and design of hydrological information collection system based on the GPRS network according to the actual needs. This paper fully utilizes GPRS wireless communication technology and STM32embedded system technology, design of hydrological information embedded intelligent detection terminal, which can be used in hydrology information acquisition through ceramic capacitance level sensor CCPS32, and realize data wireless transmission through the GPRS wireless data transmission terminal. This makes due contribution to further improve the safety of flood control、water supply and water environment of the three security system.The hydrological information collection system is mainly composed of ceramic capacitance water level sensor, STM32F103hydrological data acquisition and control board, GTM900C wireless GPRS terminal, embedded STM32F103hydrological information acquisition system control software design. In this design, the CCPS32ceramic capacitance level sensor acquisition level of German KAVLICO company information, based on the STM32F103C8chip ARM CortexM3kernel as the system controller, liquid level information is displayed for the current time, and the water level information is transmitted to the central station through the GPRS terminal of the GTM900C Huawei company, to achieve real-time monitoring data through PC.Application of hydrological information detection system greatly promotes the flood control、water-saving irrigation、water resources utilization.
