The salinity is abundantly accumulated in the soil after the water evaporation in the facility cultivation so that the soil salinization phenomenon is more and more serious in our country, which leads to the soil accelerate salinity because of frequent irrigation and.abundant fertilization. And the annual precipitation is high and the flood disaster occurs frequently which lead to many vegetables die so that the income of farmers causes huge losses.Watermelon and melon as main vegetables in our country that cultivate on the salinization and waterlogging soil are confront with enormous challenges. However, the production of watermelon and melon are usually grafted on pumpkin and bottle gourd. Therefore, screening salt-tolerant pumpkin and waterlogging-tolerant bottle gourd as stocks is a valid measure that could ensure watermelons and melons normal growth under salt stress and waterlogging.Howerver, it is vulnerable to the influence of the environment and takes long time to screen salt-tolerant pumpkin and waterlogging-tolerant bottle gourd by phenotype and physiological indexes.The molecular marker technology is not influent by environment and season by locating the genes that are relative with salt tolerance and waterlogging tolerance. But the study that molecular markers relate with pumpkin salt tolerance and bottle gourd waterlogging tolerance rarely reported so far.So this study is initially locating molecular markers which are relative with pumpkin salt tolerance and bottle gourd waterlogging tolerance by the method of BSA (Bulked Segregation Analysis), which could accelerate the screening of the materials to accelerate the breeding process. The main research results as following:(1)27inbred pumpkins as materials which were treated with NaCl solutions of different concentration. The result indicated that the inbred pumpkin NM083was tolerant to the salt and the inbred pumpkin XBZM was sensitive to the salt during seeding emergence stage.(2)150F2were derived from NM038and XBZM. One RAPD marker was screened by RAPD and SSR combined with BSA associated with pumpkin salt tolerance.(3)150F2were derived from JZS and T2002. One SSR marker was screened by RAPD and SSR combined with BSA associated with bottle gourd waterlogging.
