D meson is the particle which contains c quark. D meson physics is mainly to study how D meson come into being and the decay properties of D meson. The decay mode of D meson is more than one. However, the semi-leptonic decay process of D meson is easy to be explained and dealt with theoretically, because in the semi-leptonic decay process of D meson, strong interaction and weak interaction can be handled individually. It is particularly worth of mentioning here that for BESIII, it is possible to look for some rare semi-leptonic decay process of D meson.Within the SM framework, the branching fraction for rare decay D~+â†'D~0e~+v_eis tiny. However, in the experiments at BESIII, it is interesting to search for this semi-leptonic decay. If we see any event of the production of the neutral mesons against the charged mesons, it indicates the observation of the rare semi-leptonic decay.Using the 2.92fb-1data collected at 1/2s= 3.773 Ge V with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we perform the search for the rare decay of D~+â†'D~0e~+v_e. The upper limit on the branching fraction for this rare decay mode is set to be < 2 × 10-4at 90% C.L..Observations of this decay will be used to test the SM predictions for the rare semileptonic decays. Furthermore, any indication of deviation from the SM prediction may shed light on the searches of new physics.
