In the practice and research process of mechanical rotating system, the study for the single factor and coupling factors of rotor system have achieved very good results. From the view of specific development and research, we find that the research of rotor system mainly focus on four types of problems: the rotor-bearing oil film force of rotor-in the labyrinth gas exciting force, rotor-sealed cavity happened to touch the ground, the rotor-dry friction. And in recent years, such researches have gradually transferred from single rotor system to coupling rotor system. This will be very help for grasp and analysis the characteristics of the rotor motion, such as classic rotor bearing seal system.There is no doubt that in the analysis of the mechanical rotating, cracks and the gas exciting force caused by mechanical failure is still play an important role. And there is a little research of these two cases of the coupling system. The cracks occur have two reasons: the factors of the rotor material itself, the abuse of rotor equipment beyond the retirement age. So in order to improve safety prevention consciousness of the equipment,it is necessary to study the crack mechanism, analysis of the crack fault characteristics.This paper analyzes the dynamic character of crack-bearing-seal rotor system, and the effect caused by the different seal gap. At last, we control the system to the desired movement characteristics by adopt two chaos control methods. Main content of this paper are as follows:1. Summarized the research status and research purposes of rotor system,we raised the crack-bearing seal rotor system dynamics model and the research method, this plays a guide role the analysis and research of the crack-bearing-seal rotor system.2. In the process of study the crack-bearing-seal rotor system, the numerical simulation is indispensable. So, the C language programming is use to operate the data and then use MATLAB to draw the system bifurcation diagram, phase diagram, time response map, Poincaré map, and study the influence of the different seal gap on the system.3. We control the crack-bearing-seal rotor system to the desired movement characteristics by using two chaos control methods. Under the condition of the originalparameters are unchanged, we add the feedback controller to the differential equation of the original system. We can obtain the other group of bifurcation diagram, phase diagram, time response and Poincaré map. We found that the stability of the system is proved after the control.
