Experimental research on electron detachment of negative ions in collision with gases can supply data for the electron correlation theory, and can also be im-portant in flame chemistry, ionosphere physics, astrophysics and plasma physics. In the thesis, the experimental and theoretical study of the single electron de-tachment (SED) of transition elements negative ions in collision with Kr, Xe are carried out. This work mainly contains the following two parts:I. The experimental system is based on the improved position sensitive de-tection system, the SED cross sections for Ti-、Fe-、Co-、Ni-、Cu-、Ag-、 Au-、Rh-、Ir- in collision with Kr, Xe in the energy range of 10ke≤E≤30keV are measured by using the growth rate method in our experiments. These data are compared with other available experimental data of the corresponding elements colliding with Ar. The affinities of negative ions and the mass relation between the projectile and the target seem important in the electron detachment process. This part of work has been accepted by atomic data and nuclear data tables.Ⅱ. The electron-loss (EL) cross sections of Cu-、Ag-、Au-、Co-、Rh-1、 Ir-colliding with neutral atomic targets (Ar, Kr, Xe) in the energy range of 5keV≤E≤50keV are calculated by the DEPOSIT code first. Numerical calcula-tions are in agreement with the available experimental results in order of magni-tude. The difference between their values are in a range of one or two times.
