This paper is based on the surface geology survey project on the north slope of volcanic rock covered Kungai mountains west Kunlun, lower carboniferous series Wuluate group(C1w) volcanic area reveals geochemical characteristics and geological significance. The study gets some main conclusion like this:1 Illustrations by geochemistry describes that in Wuluate volcanic area, it reflects the difference of volcanic material source, indicating that samples are mainly from the deep mantle melting part and crustal melting part2 Microelement spider diagram shows Wuluate group volcanic rocks in the study area and volcanic rocks formed of back arc expansion environment in early stages are similar, and the typical characteristics are very similar to alkaline in-board basalts as well.3 Determines that Wuluate group volcanic rocks are a set of bimodal volcanic rocks, which formed in back-arc basin expansion in the early stage.
