Rely on the project of Geological and mineral technology development, application and demonstration in Western Important Metallogenic Belt, using high resolution remote sensing data, I study the methods of remote sensing interpretation and mineralization analysis of Ma’anshan composite pluton in Western Gansu Province. According to previous work, I analysis the invasion mechanism of active magma, and find out the accurate formation times of the compound rock mass by the remote sensing technology of using low-resolution multispectral data and high-rate remote sensing data to extracting geological information, from the regional structure.(1) This paper presents the digital image enhancement processing, including band combination, contrast enhancement, HIS image fusion, and so on, with multi-source remote sensing data(ETM+, ASTER, Worldview-2), to enhance the difference between the different lithology and features. According to the above method, I also combined with the spectral curve of rock samples to divide the time period of the three super units intrusion sequence in Ma’anshan composite pluton which can divide into 14 periods of invasion. The advantage in fine lithostructural mapping of using high-resolution remote sensing data are presented. In this paper, I also fill the gaps of the regional geological studies by the interpretation in South Hongshan sequence.(2) I use spatial domain directional filtering and pseudo color synthetic method to enhance the linear and cyclic structural information on the remote sensing images for interpreting the linear structural features surround the complex. I initially determined the regional structure frame combined with the interpretation and regional geological data, and analysised the magmatic activity invasion time, mechanism and the basic features of rock mass evolution in the late stage from macro scale of remote sensing.(3) I mainly analysised the mineral distribution, mineral deposit and mineralization geological features in the research area and surounding. Then I speculated there is no close relationship between the Ma’anshan composite pluton magmatic hydrothermal activity and the mineralization of the north copper nickel mineralization and south side gold mineralization. The mineralization feature of ore body around the study area, meets the theory of “ Small Rock Mass Mineralization”, which can be the guide to do the next work of the mineral prospecting, exploration and investigation.(4) I extracted alteration information of iron stain, aluminum hydroxyl and magnesium hydroxyl by using ETM+ and ASTER. Combined with the alteration information, the known deposit, mineralization point information to anlysis the geological features of mineralization and mineralization elements,then predict and anlysis the regional metallogenic potential. According to the forecast area classification principle, I delineated 4 A, 4 B and 3 C grade mineralization prospect area.
