The Method Of Separation Of Variables Based On The Hamiltonian System For The Wave Equation In The Circular Domain

For the wave equation in the polar coordinates, the Hamiltonian system is firstly derived by choosing the appropriate dual variables. Moreover, the completeness theorem of the eigenfunction system for the Hamiltonian operators is proved. Finally, the solution of the Hamiltonian system is given by the theorem.
