A comprehensive stability evaluation strategy and system for regional terrestrial reference frames is proposed and implemented based on one of the sub-projects of the National Modern Reference System Construction Project. Which aims to solve the lacking of stability evaluations for current regional terrestrial reference frames. The achievements of this research are listed below:1. A more advanced and efficient software, compared with current solutions including GLOBK and etc., for the construction of regional terrestrial reference frames is developed. It is capable of processing data at least 1000 stations simultaneously, meanwhile, the processing efficiency equals to the power of 2.5 of the number of the stations.2. A comprehensive stability evaluation strategy and system for regional terrestrial reference frames is proposed and implemented. It is consisted of two parts:1) Evaluation for the stability of whole frame. It is accomplished by studying the time domain and frequency characteristics of the original point and scale factor of the frame.2) Evaluation for the stability of whole station network and single stations. It is achieved through analysis of time series, spatial statistics and numerical statistics of the solutions sequence of the stations.3. Data of the JPL-SOPAC reference frame, from 2004 to 2014, is evaluated comprehensively to verify the validation of the software and stability evaluation system, of which result shows that the solution of the JPL-SOPAC reference frame is improved with a good stability. The daily RMS drops about 25.3% in east,30.3% in north and 25% vertically. The scale factor decreases about 265% after adopting of a new GPS Satellite radiation model by the Munich University. Other problems are found. Due to the linear model of the ITRF and the error introduced by the GPS radiation model, the time series of the JPL-SOPAC contains strong periodic signals. The software and evaluation system is very important for our country to have a self-ownedterrestrial reference frame and provides a reference for stability evaluation of other regional...
