This paper mainly study the influence of the mooring system for stability of the Floating&Pendular wave power platform.Includes the following four aspects.Firstly,taking the existing offshore platform fixation technology as reference, three key fixation systems of wave power platform are introduced under the requirements of wave power device. Their structures and application examples are described. Then, based on the feature of each fixation system,some advice for the selection of fixation system of wave power platform are presented.Secondly,considering the motion features and energy extraction method of a self-designed floating&pendular wave power platform, the mooring system is designed in this paper. The mooring type is ‘platform-connecting cable-buoy-anchor chain-anchor’ catenary single-point buoy mooring. The load of the platform is calculated based on wave parameters of the experimental sea area. Then, according to the calculations, the quasi-static method is used to design the connecting cable, buoy, anchor chain, anchor, etc. The connecting cable designed is steel wirerope, the buoy designed is a cylindrical steel one, the anchor chain designed is secondary stud chain, and the operation anchor designed is AC-14 anchor. The mooring system designed in this paper meets the requirements of safety and stability on the platform.Thirdly,by setting the rated sea condition with AQWA, Hydrodynamic analysis software, the movement of Single Point Mooring Wedge-shaped Wave Power Platform was simulated. It showed that the most strenuous movement was in 45° when swayed,surged and rolled in different wave incident angle, especially in the chain pretension of 6k N~8k N. And it’s proved that the Single Point Mooring Wedge-shaped Wave Power Platform is enough steady and meet the operation requirement even if in dangerous.Fourthly, making model of entity platform and mooring system with the scale of 1:30.Then doing model stability experiment in the wave pool.The results verified that The mooring system designed was able to maintain the normal operation of platform and meet the stability requirements.
