In the process of growth and development by the external environment of stress and the evolution of the plant in one thousand, Plants had formed its own set of complete and complex stress response mechanism. Transcription factors were the key to regulate mechanism about the process of signal transduction. The WRKY transcription factor as a pleiotropic transcription factor, can participate in the process of plant a variety of signal transduction. This study analyzed molecular features and functions of parsing regulatory mechanism about TaWRKY42-22 a and SiWRKY36 gene. Main results are as follows:1.The results of the research on the gene of TaWRKY42-22 a transcription factor:(1)TaWRKY42-22 a gene length is 924 bp and encoding 308 amino acids. TaWRKY42-22 a gene contained a WRKY structure and belong to group Ⅱ.(2) TaWRKY42-22 a protein was located in nucleus and membrane.(3) The expression profiles analysis revealed that the expression of TaWRKY42-22 a was upregulated by drought and NaCl, but downregulated by low temperature and ABA treatment.(4) TaWRKY42-22 a transgenic plants were sensitive to ABA stresses.2. The results of the research on the gene of SiWRKY36 transcription factor:(1) Foxtail millet whole genome contains 106 WRKY transcription factors, 106 WRKY transcription factor distribution to nine chromosomes, divided into three groups and five subgroups.(2)SiWRKY36 gene length is 1485 bp and encoding 494 amino acids. SiWRKY36 gene contain UTR region, four exons and three introns.(3) SiWRKY36 protein was located in nucleus.(4) The expression profiles analysis revealed that the expression of SiWRKY36 was upregulated by NaCl, PEG, ABA, SA, MeJA and GA.(5) SiWRKY36 transgenic plants could resistance to drought.
