Neutron star(NSs)plays an unique role in the universe. So the investigation of the NS in binary system, e.g., period, magnetic field, bottom magnetic field and accretion rate, will lead us to get clear insight of the origin and evolution of the NSs. The thesis is about the work of the evolution of NSs and pulsars in the binary systems. It mainly includes the evolution distribution of the magnetic field and spin period of the NSs in the binary systems, the formation and the characteristic of the millisecond pulsar(MSP).This paper first describes the birth and discovery of the neutron stars and pulsars., many kinds of basic characteristics parameters of neutron stars, and its calculation formula are introduced. We study the neutron star spin acceleration in binary systems, and obtain the variation relationship of period along with the accretion mass. With the analysis of the evolution of the neutron star magnetic field and period, we compare the trend of the pulsar observation with the model, obtain the similar results. Simply introduce the evolved method of BPSR and the NS in globular cluster(GC). Summarize our neutron stars and pulsars research and observation status. We also study the effects of the gravitational radiation on the spin-up process of neutron star, and derive the periodic change rate of the neutron star in the accretion process, discussed the critical angular velocity cr?, at which the accretion is equivalent to the effects of the gravitational radiation. It’s also evaluated that the influence of the gravitational radiation on neutron star spin-up.
