In the present work, I have studied the effects of two types of velocity slips (first and second order-velocity slip) on the flow and heat transfer of a two-dimensional stagnation-point flow over different types of stretching surfaces. The problem is of great importance in engineering applications and has been a hot topic recently. The work is distributed into four chapters. Chapter 1 is devoted to the introduction and literature review to the basic problem. In chapter 2, I have developed the math-ematical model of the problem. Three cases are defined in accordance to type of velocity slip and stretching surface. Chapter 3 is describing the discretization and numerical procedure of the problems which are defined in chapter 2. Results and detailed discussion is presented in chapter 4. Possible future work is also suggested at the end. All the references cited in this work are listed in the bibliography section at the end of document.
