Study On The Geological And Ore Mineralogy Characteristics Of Adaxi Gold Deposit In Xinjiang Province

Gold is one of the earliest human discovery and use of natural elements, it obtain a more important position in the national economy. So all countries in the world attaches great importance to it, strengthen the basic geological research of gold mine is also one of the important problems in the study of ore deposits in China.Xinjiang is called "Jade state" because its mineral resources are very rich. Adaxi gold deposit in west kunlun area belongs to one of the areas that are relatively weak in the study of Xinjiang gold mine and has high research value.This paper collects and collates the information on the basis of predecessors. With the geological survey in Adaxi gold deposit and the observation of the samples of rocks and minerals from the mining area, this paper summarizes the geological background and features and study on the geological and ore mineralogy characteristics. It analyzes mineralization and prospecting on the exploration of gold deposit. The main results are as follows:(1)The ore bodies of Adaxi gold deposit are occurrenced in gneiss of Ch St.a and shallow metamorphic clastic rocks of C2 t,controlled by faults and magmatic rocks at the same time.Adaxi gold deposit is mainly Altered rock-type and a small number of gold deposit is quartz vein-type.(2)The metallic minerals of Adaxi gold deposit are mainly pyrite, galena, chalcopyrite, magnetite, times for arsenopyrite, ilmenite, copper blue, malachite, rutile etc. Oxidation zone can be found in limonite. And the gangue minerals are mainly quartz, sericite, chlorite, times for Plagioclase, potassium feldspar, white mica and so on.(3)The construction of Adaxi gold deposit are mainly vein structure, disseminated structure, veinlet disseminated structure, crumb structure, fracture, etc. The structure are mainly its crystal, the shape-half euhedral crystal, replacement, crushing and so on.(4)The ore-forming process of Adaxi gold deposit is mainly shear tectonic mineralization. Shear zone is the direct sign of looking for altered rock. The next step prospecting direction is looking for good parts of the gold mineralization body at the first time, such as caused by shear tectonic altered fracture zone, the main and secondary fault intersection department, tensile fracture place.
