Oonopidae belongs to Araneae, mainly distributing in tropical and subtropical areas.Currently 107 genera and 1543 species have been recorded around the world, in which 12 genera and more than 60 species distributes in China. Oonopidae are cryptic spiders, which rest in the leaf litters or under the stones even under the bark. Some recent results suggest that there are many kinds of Ononpidae distributed in the canopy of the forest. Oonopid spiders are very small(body longth 1.0–2.0 mm) and thus it is very difficult to collect oonopid spider specimens in the field. Actually, there are a lot of potential new genera and species of oonopid spiders await us to discover. In this dissertation, a taxonomic study of Oonopidae from Xishuangbanna and Taiwan was carried out. A checklist of the family Oonopidae from this area was given, 9genera and 33 species were included, those are: Bannana crassispina Tong & Li, 2015,Bannana parvula Tong & Li, 2015, Ischnothyreus kentingensis Tong & Li, 2014, Ischnothyreus narutomii(Nakatsudi, 1942), Ischnothyreus peltifer(Simon, 1891), Opopaea apicalis(Simon,1893), Opopaea auriforma Tong & Li, 2015, Opopaea cornuta Yin & Wang, 1984, Opopaea deserticola Simon, 1891, Opopaea flabellata Tong & Li, 2015, Opopaea macula Tong & Li,2015, Opopaea rigidula Tong & Li, 2015, Opopaea semilunata Tong & Li, 2015, Opopaea sauteri Brignoli, 1974, Opopaea zhengi Tong & Li, 2015, Orchestina sinensis Xu, 1987,Orchestina clavulata Tong & Li, 2011, Orchestina truncatula Tong & Li, 2011, Xestaspis loricata(L. Koch, 1873), Xestaspis shoushanensis Tong & Li, 2014, and Xyphinus hwangi Tong & Li, 2014. Based on examing the spider specimens, 10 new species belonging to Orchestina are firstly reported. All specimens are preserved in Shenyang Normal University(SYNU) and Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing(IZCAS).
