In You fang zhuang South chang 4+5 drilling core observation and description and research, combined with the interior well logging and other data, the paper used some laboratory analysis test tools and research methods such as microscopic flakes of sandstone skeleton component quantitative statistics, light and heavy mineral analysis, signs and sedimentary facies analysis and so on, which also employed some new theories and methods as high resolution sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, facies ancient geography, geophysical logging, petroleum geology and other disciplines. Based on all the theories and methods, it completed formations fine division and contrast, provenance analysis, depositional systems and sedimentary facies, diagenesis and reservoir heterogeneity of You fang zhuang south chang4+5 and achevived a comprehensive reservoir classification and evaluation ultimately in this paper.Under the control of the regional flag layer, it took the progressive control to divide the layer into small layers by using the contrast cycle. Source analysis results showed that the research area of chang4+5 was mainly controlled by northeast source. Core phase and log phase comprehensive analyzed that Chang 4 + 5 reservoir was mainly delta front which underwater distributary channel sand body is the main reservoir. Determining the lower limit of physical properties through statistical method, it conducted a comprehensive reservoir classification and evaluation of the research area and the reservoir is divided into three categories by using Characteristic Parameters such as porosity, permeability, face rate, reservoir thickness and displacement pressure.
