The Southwestern Tianshan has a very good potential of gold and non-ferrous mineral. Bileti is located in the northwestern margin of Tarim Basin and the southern area of the Southern Tianshan orogenic belt. It is the conjunction of Tarim Basin and the Southwestern Tianshan. Affected by the Aheqi fracture belt in the north and the Keping overthrust structure in the south, the main stratum in this area is Paleozoic and Cenozoic, with small area of Mesozoic. However, due to natural geography and climate, transportation and other conditions are extremely poor. The geological, geophysical and geochemical studies are rather poor. The large scale geochemical data is blank. Therefore, it is very important to carry out regional stream sediment survey in Bileti.1:50000 regional geological and mineral survey provided abundant information on the geology and mineralization background in Bileti area. The regional geochemical characteristics are identified by carrying out stream sediment survey and statistical analysis of 19 kinds of elements. Our work has greatly enriched large scale regional geological and geochemical data.Except the value of Cu element is close to the background value, the other elements are higher than the background. The abnormally high content of ore-forming elements in the area provides favorable conditions for mineralization. The main elements in the front of the mineralization sequence(Zx> 40) are: Au, Hg, As, Pb, Mo, Ba, Ag, Sb. The mineralization coefficient of Au is the highest, to be 196.08. The results show that Au, Ag, Cu and Pb constitute the major ore-forming elements, the hypothermal remote indicator combinations of As, Sb, Hg are the associated elements of major ore-forming elements, Mo is high temperature mineralization associated elements.Based on the above works, 259 single element anomalies, 5 composite anomalies and 3 mineralization prospective areas have been delineated. By using geochemical quantitative prediction methods(areal productivity method), the potential resource of Au is calculated at about 309.77 kg, the potential resource of Cu is about 17844 t in Kalatieke mineralization prospective area. It shows a very good mineral prospecting potential in the studied area.
