Rely on the project of Research and Application of Remote Sensing Geological Mineral Survey in Western Major Metallogenic Belt, on the basis of full understanding the spectral features of sedimentary rock, make a lithology-structure information enhancement multispectral remote sensing data(ETM+、ASTER) of Kubai Basin, and remote sensing interpretation signs of lithology-structure information be set up. On this basis, lithology-structure information of Kubai Basin was extracted. Based on the extracted result of lithology-structure information the characteristics of tectonic evolution of Kubai Basin is discussed. The main results are as follows:(1) Based on the full understanding the spectral features of sedimentary rock, lithology-structure information of multispectral remote sensing data(ETM+、 ASTER) be enhanced by multiple image enhancement methods(methods based on the tone: band combination method、contrast enhancement method、ratio transformation method、principal component transformation method、HLS transformation method; methods based on the texture: high-pass filtering、directional filtering), and a good enhancement effect be obtained.(2) Rely on the lithology-structure information enhancement, interpretation signs of lithology-structure information be set up, combining with spatial information of high resolution remote sensing image(Google Earth、Worldview-2), interpret the lithology-structure information and find out the distribution and features of lithology-structure information in the research area.(3) On the basis of lithology-structure information interpretation, combining with geological data, we discussed the characteristics of tectonic evolution of Kabai Basin, according to the result of lithology-structure information interpretation, from the perspective of stratigraphic contact relationship and fold deformation, obtained that Kubai Basin has experienced four stages of tectonic deformation since Neogene, so divided the tectonic evolution of Kubai Basin into four stages which since the Neogene: the evolution stage formation the Kangcun Group、the evolution stage of Kangcun Group-Kuche Group、the evolution stage of Kuche Group-Xiyu Conglomerate group, the evolution stage of Xiyu Conglomerate group-Current...
