Seismic interpretation is an important factor of the oil and gas exploration. Seismic interpretation which involves in geology, seismic, logging is developing rapidly in recent years. It contains various technology including interpreted processing technology, structural description, reservoir prediction, trap comprehensive evaluation. The purpose of the research is to analyze the structural interpretation technology for 3D seismic data. The traditional 3D structural interpretation regards 3D seismic data as encrypted 2D data, which exists some problems such as low utilization of information, low working efficiency and unsatisfactory quality. With the development of attribute processing of seismic data and human-machine interaction, the new technology breaks away the convention and makes full use of 3D data information and computer to produce finer structure. The finer structural interpretation, which is famous for its high efficiency and precision, is practicable.According to the working procedure of structural interpretation, technical study has been done in this paper from the following aspects:management of substantial data, scaling record for synthetic seismic, visualization display and seismic interpretation, velocity analysis and T-D conversion, structural mapping and structural description, and etc. Management model of mass data, which involves separating and storing of seismic volume and obtaining data according to needs, is put forward in the paper. Through the matching study on well data in depth domain and seismic data in time domain, it provides a technical scheme that T-D relationship can be adjusted automatically according to spring theory, so as to meet the fundamental condition of structural interpretation of well-to-seismic integration with high precision. Via the study of visualization technology, especially of 3D visualization technology, the paper provides methods of carrying on structural interpretation with the recognition of structural characteristics from different angles. In the process of structural interpretation, the reliability of interpretation and working efficiency can be improved through the interpretations, such as the comparison and analysis of multi-window interaction and the automatic tracing for seed point.Four common ways of velocity analysis and basic model and methods of T-D transformation are stated in the paper. With hybrid grid technology and tendency monitoring technology, the problem of structural mapping of mass data under the complicated background has been solved. And then auto-statistic technology and auto-correction technology of structural errors are applied to form structural mapping with high precision.Based on software, this technical process is well applied in the field. Though it produces good effect, it has a large room to improve.
