There are several oil and gas fields(reservoir) discovered by deep oil and gas exploration in Songliao Basin that had made significant progress in recent years,in which the main volcanic reservoir are mostly from Yingcheng,Huo Shiling formations and also from basement volcanic rocks. With ecnomical gases are obtained from some prospecting wells in 2010 and 2012, A new phase of volcanic exploration is showed in Yingcheng formation in Yingtai fault subsidence, a portion of Jilin oli field, which is prospected in 2009. It is necessary to deepen the research of reservoir generation, distribution, classification and evaluation accompanied with further gas reservoir recognition. Based on lithology recognition and calibration and then further analysis of volcanic lithology, lithofacies and edifice, it focus on the summarization and research of reservoir distribution characterized by complicated lithologies and domination of diagenesis to reservoir generation in Yingcheng formation in Yingtai fault subsidence in this paper, and meanwhile explores reservoir generation and sets up the standards of reservoir classification and evaluation, and recognition marks on geology and well logging of different kinds of reservoir, all of which are to find out the beneficial reservoir distribution. It is concluded in the paper that there are three porfitable distribution of volcanic reservoir in Ying1 member. The first distribution is the fractures along the faults, the second is the structures on the palaeohigh and the third one is the proximal realm in the depression. It is illustrated by the distribution plan characterized by diagenesis that north volcanic reservoir is better than the middle and the south and the east part of the middle-south is possibly the worst. It is also concluded in the paper that there are two porfitable distribution of volcanic reservoir in Ying2 member. One is along the faults and the other is on the palaeohigh, which is charactered by diagenesis with better north reservoir than south and better west part than the east.
