The Heihe River is a typical inland river in Northwest China,with arid and semiarid climate.Water resources in it are mainly from the mountain,and usually dissipate in the basin.And,there is large quantities and high frequency of mutual conversion between river water and groundwater.The river flow out of the mountain pass basically represents the amount of water resources in the Heihe River Basin and the infiltration of river water front of the mountain is an important part of the groundwater resource in the basin.However,in recent decades,natural shape has transformed into the dual shape of natural-artificial due to a large amount of irrigation in irrigated area and establishment of reservoir project,resulting in more complex laws of river infiltration and more ambiguous situation about groundwater resource inside the basin.So,it is necessary to have a research on the laws of river infiltration and the process and relationship between river and groundwater in the area,which will have important practical value for studying variation and exploiting on groundwater resources in this survey basin,and also have some theoretical significance for guiding a later research on the relationship between river water and groundwater in arid and semiarid area.In this paper,we have analyzed the hydrogeological characteristics and the relationship between river and groundwater in infiltration area of the Heihe River according to hydrological-hydrogeological profile in this place;gotten the spillage of groundwater in the reaches up the bridge and the surface discharge in the transformational section of river infiltration and groundwater spillage,using the method of base flow through the real-time monitoring data of river runoff at the Heihe River Bridge in two-hydrolgical-years period;made use of the process and the capacity about the river runoff in the period of no drilling and studied the river infiltration characteristics,confirmed the infiltration laws in that period and calculated the infiltration capacity of the river from Yingluoxia to Caotanzhuang,and from Caotanzhuang to the Heihe River Bridge;researched the relationship between river runoff,infiltration capacity and the groundwater level with stochastic simulation, moreover, made a linear time-invariant system theory model and predicted the variation of water level of the observation hole in 2012-2013 on the basis of the model identification.
