Minziluomu iron deposit is located in the western margin of the Yangtze platf-orm(Ⅰ), the upper Yangtze syneclise(Ⅱ), Liangshan depression fold fault bundle(Ⅳ)’s. Biji-Ningnan fold fault bundle in the concave(Ⅴ), the long-term subsiden-ce,which have been sedimentated thick stratum since paleozoic(with the exception of the carboniferous outside). The North-South tectonic in the region, plays an obvi-ous control effect on sedimentation.The study area is divided by nearly East-West Minziluomu river, South.north mining area range is syncline, the north area of shaft is destroyed by F1 thrustfau-lt. Syncline’s wing strata is Sinian, Cambrian, Ordovician and Silurian. The slot is composed of the Devonian, Permian and Jurassicstrata. The study area is located in the North-South synclinal axis, called Biji mountain compound syncline Syncline in the Luofei-Qiaoluo thrust fault. Performance of thrust fault and syncline axis dir-ection is consistent, then the east-west direction normal fault, strike slip faults. Ma-gmatite is Emei Mount basalt(Pe), produced in the axial part of the syncline, which is continental rift typevolcano eruption of tholeiitic basalt calcalkaline, copper cont-ent in local area.The ore bearing sedimentary formation is Dq2, which is composed of a set of integrated production: bay shore beach deposition of argillaceous rocks, clastic roc-ks and containing iron rock. Iron ore deposits are strictly controlled by the strata and sedimentary facies, Produced in the transition of the clastic rocks and carbon-ate’s clastic rock. At present, in the area of North and south, to determine the 2 ore section, a layered output, morphology controlled by strata and syncline, as an axial 350° axis syncline, the seam is north high-south low "groove".The main ore types include oolitic siderite(including oolitic magnetite sideriteo-olite chlorite), oolitic bearing oolitic siderite’s hematite, Oolitic containing sandy oolite chlorite siderite, shaly siderite. The main minerals are siderite, hematite and limonite. The siderite is a reduction in organic matter on diagenesis stage. The mai-nstructure is oolitic and concentric circle structure, massive structure is developed; whi-ch is belong to the grade of iron ore of high sulfur and high acid. Iron ore hasexpe-rienced the same ore-forming stage,diagenetic metallogenic period and hyperg-ene phase.According to the evolution history of the basin, Early devonian block lifting activities are relatively strong in Yuexi district. The Kangdian old land continueto uplift, Xinming and Puxiong River fault activity, synsedimentary fault and the formation of a semi enclosed bay to shallow water environment, controlthe sedimentary characteristics and sedimentary deposits of the Devonian. Dc during the early stage of Bay Shore beach sand dam; Dp is a far-near shore environment, composed of shale clay rock, siltstone and limestone of the basic sequence of sedimentary fac-ies; Dq is a the bay shore beach environment, is composed offine sandstone, sand stone and shale composition containing iron basic sequence of sedimentary facies, sedimentary facies for ore. Dqj is a supratidal flat and tidal flat environment, in the lower part of the dolomite and clay basic sequence and deposition, deposi-tion at the top of the clay rock-fine sandstone is composed of basic sequenceon the coarse fine.Dy is a environment of tidalintertidal sediments from clayrocks, argillaceous limestone, bioclastic limestone is composed of the basic sequence of multiple unequal thi-ckness phase; Late Devonian, survey area continue to uplift of the land, the lack of the C sedimentary.The study area by the surrounding land minerals mainly in warm and moist pal-eoclimate, provided by weathering and denudation, has experienced the ore formin-g material preparation stage, iron ooliteformation stage, the formation stage of ore enrichment. The formation of a typical shallow sea facies sedimentary iron depo-sits, also nameed "Ningxiang" type.Iron ore deposit formation is closely related to the strata, lithofacies palaeogeo-graphy, tectonic. Sedimentary facies symbol information, information, alteration inf-ormation and the exploration trace information can guide the prospecting work. Ba sed on this work, initially established a research area prospecting model, and delinea-ted the area of this type of ore prospecting direction.
