Through the studying of petroleum deposit in No.20 layer of Qing1 Formation in the north of Bamiantai oil field, the conditions of accumulation and main controlling factors are divided into 4 hierarchies from weak to strong:1 level is the enough supply of oil source from source rock. The westward-higher lateral migration of light crude generated by widely distributed Qing1 Formation lacustrine facies mudstone from the central depression area makes the reservoir of Qing1 Formation into accumulation.2 level is the control effect of fault. Nearly NS trending fault and permeable sand body form fault-lithological trap. The distribution range of crude oil is controlled by the fault in the regions, but on the local the control action for crude oil accumulation is limited.3 level is the structural highs. Through fine structural interpretation achievement, the distribution area of the structural traps for single factor is very limited,so the effect of structural highs on controlling crude oil accumulation is not obvious.4 level is the sedimentary microfacies sand body. The most favorable sedimentary microfacies for crude oil accumulation in this area is the deltafront river mouth bar, followed the subaqueous distributary channel sand body.
