The21st century is the century of the ocean. Filled with many unknowns, thisland of blue has been explored since the first time people set foot on it. Oceandimensional monitoring network has became an important measure for people toexplore and understand the ocean. Its improvement and development can providemore convenient service to humanity.Ocean buoys monitoring system is an important part of the monitoring network.The ocean buoys can complete the mission off the beaten track in the harsh conditions,thus they are suitable for uninterrupted ocean monitoring all day long. However, thecurrent study shows that the power supply system of the underwater ocean buoys hasno breakthrough research, though the ocean buoy technology has continued toprogress. Its prevalent to use battery provides power for underwater systems ininternational. When the battery runs out you need to replace the battery, it requires alot of manpower and material resources, and important data may be missing.To solve the problem of power supply, we propose an ocean buoys non-contactpower transmission system, which based on the principle of electromagnetic inductionand previous studies. The electromagnetic coupler was designed and energy loss isanalyzed. We propose to use the resonance principle of compensation to reduce thereactive power.After the experiment system overall efficiency of about57%, the systemtransfers power reached22.8W. We achieved low-power non-contact power transfer.It important for solving the problem of ocean buoys power supply.
