DNA Evidence Of The Assimilation Of Manchu To Han

Lots of Chinese nationalities lived in the Northeast of China, including majorHan Chinese, Manchu, Korean, Mongolian, Evenki, Oroqen, Hoche and so on. TheHan Chinese and other national minority lived, communicated and developed witheach other. In the long history, with the exchange of culture and civilization,intermarriage and other phenomena like this occured frequently, also mutualintegration of people of all genes, showing unity of cultural diversification. Thecharacteristics of mitochondrial DNA is maternally inherited, and can be accuratelydetermined by measuring the various nationalities’ gene flow situation and nationalintegration. Manchu is also a major nationality in Northeast of China, and in recentdecades, the Manchu and Han nationality frequently exchanges and southwardmigration occurs gradually that the Manchu being assimilated. The geneticrelationships of ManChu and Han can be determined by comparing mitochondrialDNA sequences, determined haplotypes, and mitochondrial DNA sequence alignment.This can provide strong evidence for the Manchu assimilating by Han Chinese DNA.In this paper, the structural characteristics of the origin of Manchu and othernationalities in the Northeast of China, mitochondrial DNA, mitochondrial DNAextraction methods, Manchu south of DNA evidence and the two provinces of Jilinand Liaoning Manchu23cases of mitochondrial DNA hypervariable1region werepresented, and determined by analyzing haplotypes belonging to A, B, C, D, D4, F, M,M8a, R. The results showed that: Manchu and Han have similar genetic relationships.The Manchu has gradually assimilated by Han when they externally aggressed otherethnic residents and the gene fusing also occurs gradually.
