Karst collapse disasters may bring about much endangers and threatening to social development and engineering construction, yet to the people’s lives and properties. Therefore, to study Karst collapse’s evolution mechanisms, monitoring and forecasting technologies and lability zoning methods can produce great economic and social significance.The formation mechanism and background conditions of Dachengqiao town, Ningxiang county’s karst collapse was analyzed in the article. Based on analysis, two conditions are proposed, the one is local geological environment background conditions and the another one is human activities affect. The local geological environment background conditions contain five factors: terrain conditions, karst types, cladding layer, structural conditions and groundwater conditions; Human engineering activities are divided into two factors:current condition of karst collapse disasters and destruction of hydrodynamic conditions. The risk zoning assessment of Dachengqiao town, Ningxiang was discussed by "attribute factor overlay comprehensive analysis" method and GIS technology. And a mine drainage pumping triggering model of karst collapse disaster lability assessment platform was constructed that based on geological background conditions, assessment factors, assessment methods and information management systems.
