Abstract/Summary:
Phylogenetic analysis is a method to describe genetic and evolutionary rela-tionships of the species. Phylogenetic analysis is often expressed in phylogenetictree, intuitively showing genetic relationship between species.Sequence alignment method is a traditional method in the phylogenetic anal-ysis. However, sequence alignment methods have become impossible for a largenumber of data. Alignment-free methods are supplement of phylogenetic anal-ysis methods. In recent years, researchers have proposed some alignment-freemethods. The nucleotide distance method is one of them.Chang et al. proposed to use multinomial distribution as a reference dis-tribution of the nearest similar nucleotide distance. Afreixo et al. proposed thenearest dissimilar nucleotide distance for phylogenetic analysis, as well as the ge-ometric distribution as the reference distribution. The main idea of this thesis isto combine the nearest similar and dissimilar nucleotide distances, with diferentdistributions as the reference distributions, then construct two composition vec-tors according to the relative error of the actual distributions and the referencedistributions, last construct phylogenetic tree using the Euclidean distance.
